Privacy Policy
Effective: June 7, 2026 · Last updated: June 7, 2026
Your privacy matters. This policy explains, in plain language, what information Strength Train with Val collects when you visit our website, buy a program, join the membership, or get in touch — and how we use, share, and protect it, along with the choices and rights you have.

1. Who we are
This website, strengthtrainwithval.com, is operated by Lusvardi Fitness Inc., doing business as “Strength Train with Val” (“we,” “us,” or “our”). For privacy purposes, Lusvardi Fitness Inc. is the “data controller” responsible for your personal information.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, you can reach us at [email protected]. A postal mailing address for formal privacy requests is available on request.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy covers personal information we collect through our website, online store and checkout, member login area, video library, newsletter, and contact forms. It does not cover the practices of third-party platforms we link to or embed (such as Instagram, YouTube, or our coaching app), which operate under their own privacy policies.
3. Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: what you give us, what we collect automatically, and what we receive from trusted service providers.
Information you give us
- Account & membership details — your name, email address, and a password (stored in encrypted/hashed form) when you create an account or join the membership.
- Order & billing information — name, email, phone, and billing/shipping address when you purchase a program or service.
- Coaching intake & fitness information — details you share to receive coaching, which may include training goals, experience, injuries, medical or health background, body measurements, and progress photos. See Health & sensitive information below.
- Communications — the content of messages you send via contact forms, email, or newsletter sign-up.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage & device data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and which videos you watch, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Security data — login activity and traffic information used to protect the site against fraud and abuse.
Information from service providers
- Payment confirmations from our payment processors (Stripe and PayPal, including digital wallets such as Apple Pay that route through them) — confirming a transaction succeeded. Your card details are entered directly with the processor; we never see or store your full payment card number.
- Analytics from Google Analytics about how visitors use the site.
4. How we use your information
We use your information only for clear, specific purposes:
- To deliver coaching, programs, and the services you sign up for;
- To create and manage your account and membership login;
- To process orders, payments, and send order confirmations and receipts;
- To run the member video library and track your progress;
- To respond to your questions and provide customer support;
- To send the newsletter and program updates, where you’ve asked to receive them;
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud;
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it;
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
5. Legal bases for processing (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:
- Contract — to provide the coaching, membership, and products you purchase.
- Consent — for the newsletter, marketing, non-essential cookies, and processing health-related information. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — to secure the site, prevent fraud, and understand basic usage, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation — to keep financial and tax records as required by law.
6. Health & sensitive information
Because we provide fitness coaching, you may choose to share health-related information such as injuries, medical conditions, body measurements, or progress photos. We treat this information as sensitive.
- We collect it only with your consent and only to design and deliver your coaching safely.
- We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or use it for any purpose unrelated to your coaching.
- You can ask us to stop using it, or to delete it, at any time (see Your privacy rights).
We are not a healthcare provider, and the coaching we provide is not medical advice. Some U.S. state laws (for example, Washington’s My Health My Data Act and Colorado’s privacy law) give residents additional rights over health-related data; we honor those rights where they apply.
9. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here — for example, for the life of your account, to fulfill orders, and to meet legal and tax obligations (financial records are typically kept for several years as required by law). When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. Backups may retain copies for a limited period before they are overwritten.
10. Data security
We protect your information with measures including encrypted (SSL/TLS) connections, hashed passwords, access controls, a website firewall, and reliance on PCI-DSS-compliant payment processors that handle card data directly. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information and to respond promptly if an issue arises.
11. International data transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the U.S. and elsewhere. If you are in the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework — when your data is transferred internationally.
12. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:
- Access — know what data we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correction — fix inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your data.
- Portability — receive your data in a portable format.
- Restriction & objection — limit or object to certain processing.
- Withdraw consent — opt out of marketing or withdraw consent at any time.
- Opt out of sale or sharing and limit use of sensitive information, where applicable.
- Non-discrimination — we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity, and we’ll respond within the timeframe required by law (generally within 30–45 days). If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Residents of California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Texas, and other U.S. states with privacy laws have these rights under their respective state laws.
13. Sale & sharing of personal information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (targeted advertising that follows you across other websites). Because we do not sell or share data in this way, there is nothing to opt out of — but if this ever changes, we will update this policy and provide a clear “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” option.
14. Children’s privacy
This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
15. Email & marketing communications
If you sign up for our newsletter or program updates, we’ll send you emails you can opt out of at any time using the unsubscribe link in every message, or by contacting us. We will still send essential transactional emails (such as order receipts and account notices) related to services you use.
16. Third-party links & social media
Our site links to and embeds content from other platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. When you click through or interact with embedded content, those platforms collect information under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of websites or services we don’t control.
17. Automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.
18. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. We review this policy at least once a year.
19. Contact us
Questions, requests, or concerns about your privacy? Email [email protected] and we’ll be happy to help. A postal address for formal requests is available on request.
